The Barbagiuans match has become much more than a football game. How would you describe the importance of this event today, both for Monaco and for the charitable causes it supports?

Barbagiuans events go far beyond sport. They are a tremendous expression of solidarity and togetherness. We are fortunate to see more and more personalities joining us every year, whether they are football legends or figures from a wide range of backgrounds.

The Barbagiuans family continues to grow, and seeing the interest and support that so many people show towards our association and the charitable causes we represent is both an honour and a source of immense pride. Through events such as the Racing Stars Football Cup and the commitment of those who take part, we are able to share the values of solidarity and generosity with a wider audience while shining a light on the causes we support.

As President of the Barbagiuans, what role do you personally play in the organization of such a prestigious event, and what does it mean to continue the legacy and values associated with this unique team?

I try to be as involved as possible in the organisation of our events. My role is to be present at every level, both on the pitch and behind the scenes, working alongside our teams to ensure that every event is a success. The objective is always the same: to make sure everything runs smoothly and that the results meet our ambitions, particularly for the causes that are close to our hearts. Being President of the Barbagiuans is a responsibility that continues the commitment of my uncle, HSH Prince Albert II, who founded this team decades ago. Having the opportunity to carry this adventure forward, preserve its legacy and contribute to its development is both a privilege and a great honour.

This year once again, internationally renowned personalities such as Ronaldinho have joined the event. What does the presence of such legendary figures bring to the match and to the overall mission of the Barbagiuans?

On the occasion of the Racing Stars Football Cup, we had the immense honour of welcoming Ronaldinho to the Barbagiuans. Ronaldinho is not only a football legend but also an iconic figure in world sport. Knowing that he shares our values and agreed to be part of this adventure is a tremendous source of pride for us. It is also a privilege to have the opportunity to play alongside him. We all know what he represents in the history of football. He is one of those rare players who have left a lasting mark on generations through both their talent and their personality. Seeing him wear the Barbagiuans shirt and share this experience with us was truly something special.

The event enjoys the support of HSH Prince Albert II and the entire Princely Family. How important is this backing, and what message does it send about Monaco’s commitment to sport, solidarity and philanthropy?

With the continued growth of the Barbagiuans, the organisation of new events, the increasing impact of our initiatives and the causes we support, this adventure has taken on a whole new dimension. It is incredibly important to see this story continue with the same enthusiasm and values that inspired its creation. This team is an integral part of Monaco’s history and of the Princely Family’s heritage. My uncle, HSH Prince Albert II, founded the Barbagiuans in the 1980s, and it is a source of great pride to still have his support today across all of our projects. Feeling that commitment and confidence in what we are building is a true privilege. It motivates us to keep growing, to expand our events and to continue using sport as a force for good in support of those who need it most.
